On August 28, 2003 we kicked off our first Made In Central Park event with Paul van Dyk. The show quickly sold out to over 5500 people and made record-breaking history by being the first DJ driven electronic music event of this magnitude in Central Park! The brilliance of Paul's set was met by the brilliance of Stellar Designs' tree soaring visuals - a show so spectacular our laser team had to file with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) three months prior for clearance! We thank everyone who voted for us in the Dancestar awards and allowed us to take home the Dancestar Award for Best Event 2003 for this show.

Our Made in Central Park summer series 2004 started off with a bang - of thunder that is! Paul van Dyk, as part of his Rock the Vote tour, opened the season to thousands of die-hard fans willing to brave the storm - 4 hours straight of a full on torrential down pour, and 4 hours straight of full on trance as only Paul can do. Dancing in the rain reached fever pitch as 100 large transparent beach balls descended on thousands of hands in the air, and with Paul running good-naturedly from booth to crowd handing out dry paper towels. This show has been sited by many as one that will go down in dance music history.

Another bad weather forecast for August 12th forced us to bring the party inside. But that didn't stop the droves of fans from coming out to hear Armin van Buuren, Armin is quickly becoming the 'it' boy of trance and he proved his worth...as a consolation Armin gave us not the scheduled 4, but 6 full hours of his best. His set reached from banging techno, deep trance and everything in between. He is definitely the one to watch for '05 - and New York loves him!

Finally, on September 22nd we brought the world's most famous DJ to the world's most famous park. New Yorkers and the sun came out in full force to welcome the king of trance; Tiesto. Not for nothing, but after the show, Tiesto himself felt it was his best NY show ever. We would have to agree. Having just returned from playing the opening ceremony of the 2004 summer Olympics in Athens, Tiesto whipped Central Park into an Olympic size frenzy! Even city park officials had to admit they'd never seen anything like it.
